From Kyle!

Kyle got this beautiful necklace and earrings to celebrate the birth of Claire, our last baby. I sent him an e-mail awhile back that had a link to Lisa Leonards etsy shop and told him that if needed any idea's for gifts for me, that I would love something from her shop. I was totally surprised and so happy when he presented this to me at the hospital the day after we had Claire.
I love it so much! (I do have to send it back and get the names re-done because she placed the stars wrong), it is the coolest gift ever!!! I still wear it and get a ton of complements on it! I have a great husband!

Kids say the darndest things

6/18/09 Claire is starting to say little words. She told the waitress 'thank you' (more like day du) after I did. She also was saying her own version of 'again' when Kyle was throwing her in the air at the beach and she can say 'nana' for banana.
6/16/09 We took the kids to see the Seals at La Jolla and Carson asked if we were in the 'Ice Age' when we were down on the veiwing platform.
6/18/09 Halle came in crying one day while we were in San Diego because I had not put her "sun scream" on her. She always calls it sun scream, so cute!
04/2009 We were in the car the other day and Carson said 'mommy, you are not obeying the commandments'. You might wonder why he would accuse me of this? I was being mean by not taking him to McDonalds.
01/2008 I know that I shouldn't think this is cute, because it really isnt' but when you hear a 22 month old yell "Stupid Head Carson" it is kinda funny. She actually has started saying 'stupid head {insert inteneded's name here} quite a bit, so it is becoming not so cute. Grandma especially does not like being called 'Stupid Head Grandma"! AAAHHH!! What do I do?
9/06/07 Mckenna was mad at Carson today and told him "you are making me lose my "Temperature"!
Lately Carson has been saying "Are you thinking what I am thinking, Mom"? Ummm. I don't know Carson, what are you thinking? Then he tells me that he is thinking about a T-Rex or some other dinosaur, and wonders if they can eat a moth or a alligator, or something like that. Ummm. No Carson, that is not what I was thinking. Then I tell him what I was thinking and then he will tell me that is NOT what he was thinking, He does this several times a day, and always has some random thought about little boy things that I just don't think of. Every once in a while though he will throw in that he was thinking about how much he loves me :)
